Richard Hensley... "It is a great joy to be able to minister in music and meet new believers in Christ who enjoy good gospel music." Richard also believes that Southern Gospel Music is one of the major tools in reaching people for Christ. Richard is currently pastor of Eminence Baptist Church in Liberty, TX, and also the manager of Voices of Praise Southern Gospel Ministries. "May God receive all the glory and praise! Kathy Hensley... "I have been involved with music most of my life, but it never had a real meaning until I met Jesus..." Kathy is Richard's wife, and Jenn and Kati's mom, and just loves to sing for Jesus. Having been a member of a hard rock band (lead guitarist and vocals) for fifteen years, she knows how music can influence people. Though she loves all kinds of Christian music (no more secular music for her), from Christian Contemporary to Country Gospel, her heart is in Southern Gospel Music...especially quartets. Kathy loves bringing joy through singing the Good News.

Jennifer Hensley... "I think the most thrilling experience is someone receiving Christ as their Savior..." Jennifer believes in singing! She has been singing for almost 17 years now, and has enjoyed it immensely. "Nothing compares to gospel singing, especially when you're in a harmonizing group. It is so much fun! My family has always been involved in music programs at every church we've ever attended, and we never have regretted it. You don't regret anything that you do for Jesus...."

Kati Hensley... "I think the best part about singing is you get to meet different people and sing about Jesus Christ to them..." "Mom and Dad, I love you, but Jesus is #1 in my life!" Any Christian parent would be as proud as we are to hear that! Kati is the youngest member of Voices of Praise and just has started singing with the rest of the family. She loves Southern Gospel Music and also likes Christian Contemporary Music. Her favorite praise band is Third Day and her favorite Southern Gospel group is the Gaither Vocal Band. She is a fun-loving 15-year-old who loves to play the guitar, play with her pets: Spek the dog, Monkee, Shugar, Smokee, and BubbaGirl, the cats, and she also loves to hang out with her friends and witness to other kids.
