The Gospel Messengers are a mixed group that ministers in close harmony with traditional and Southern Gospel Music. The Gospel Messengers have traveled all over Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Arkansas for the last 30 years. Our calling is to win the lost and encourage others with gospel music that tells of God's love and faithfulness. 

Ernie Breaux – Lead singer was born and raised in Port Arthur, TX. , accepted the Lord Jan. 23, 1978, and has been singing with TGM since March 1979. Plays Piano, Do-Bro and married his wonderful wife, Ernestine April 28, 1957 and reside in Baytown, Texas. They are blessed with 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Ernie loves to see an individual come to Christ through the music ministry.

Ernestine Breaux – Sound Tech. was born in Vivian, La. And raised in Beaumont, accepted the Lord during her teen years. Graduated from South Park High School. Met Ernie in January 1957, married April 28, 1957,  and the rest is history. Ernestine excels at supporting him in the ministry.

Roger Hiebert – Bass singer, was born July 20, 1954 married his wife Janet March 7, 1973. They have 2 children, and 5 grandchildren. Roger gave his life to Christ in July 1998. He and his wife reside in Old River, Texas. Roger has sung bass for other groups and now has joined TGM in January 2008. He and his family attend Old River Baptist.

Terri Manor – Tenor Singer, grew up in East Texas, and graduated from SFASU with a Music/ Education degree in 1987. She lives in Brazoria, TX and has been married to Gilbert for fourteen years. They have 2 daughters, Sarah and Hannah, 4 dogs, 1 cat, and a very large backyard. She has been singing since she was three. After she met Jesus, her whole life became music that praises the Lord. She loves to sing to praise Him. That is her greatest joy.

Ty Bowen - Steel guitar player, born on March 28th, 1948, Bridgeton, New Jersey. Raised in a Christian home, and played the bass guitar for several years with various country groups, but developed a burning desire to play the steel guitar. Married to Bertha, of  28 years, and have 5 children. Retired from military service of 23 years and having served 18 months in Vietnam. Ty joined TGM in December 2007, and after a brief absence came back in 2009. 

James Bryant – Bass guitar player was raised in a Christian home, accepted the Lord at age 33 and is a native Houstonian, married his wife Brittney in April 1992, they have one daughter, Taylor, and reside in Katy, Texas. James started playing bass guitar at the age of 16 having toured across America and overseas playing professionally from 1983 to 1997. James joined TGM in December 2007, and after a brief absence came back in 2009 where he now plays bass guitar and does some back up vocals for the group.

Dean Chasnoff – Drummer Jewish by birth, saved by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 2002. As well as being a member of several Christian Motorcycle Ministries he has been a member of Ambassadors for Jesus Christ Motorcycle Ministry for 6 years and rides with the group at his church.  In addition to playing in his home church at 1st. Baptist North Channel, he joined TGM in May 2006; he left in December 2007 and returned in November 2009. He and his wife Tomalea have four children and three grandchildren, and live in Summerwood, North Houston Dean believes that if he influences just one person, just one, to Christ thru his music ministry then he is truly blessed.
