Crossing Jordan was formed in February of 2008. We are a male trio from the Houston, Texas area. We all come from different cities surrounding Houston and even though we come from different areas, we are all joined by the blood of Christ. We love the Lord and when we are not traveling and singing for the Lord, we all have home churches we attend.
Mike Elliott is our lead singer. He is a member of First Baptist Church North Channel in Houston, TX where he is the Music Minister. Mike was born in Houston, Texas and resides in Crosby, TX with his wife Barbara and their three children.
Arnold Carpenter sings baritone and plays guitar. He is a member of First Baptist Church North Channel in Houston, TX. Arnold was born in Memphis, TN and resides in Pasadena, TX with his wife Cheryl and her daughter. Arnold has been ministering in music since the age of 19.
James Everitt sings tenor and plays bass guitar. He is a member of First Baptist Church North Channel in Houston, TX. James was born in Conroe, TX and resides in La Porte, TX with his wife Terry. James has been ministering in music for the past 19 years.
Wilma (Bright) Morrison plays Keyboard. She is a member of Airline Manor Baptist Church in Houston, TX. She is the Secretary for BAGMA. Wilma was born in Cushing, OK and resides in Houston, TX with her husband Myron. Wilma has been playing piano and ministering in music for 60 years.
Rick Colson plays drums. He is a member of First Baptist Church North Channel in Houston, TX. Rick was born in Houston, TX and resides in Baytown, TX with his 2 daughters. Rick has been ministering in music for one year.
Charlie Ruscher is our sound technician. He is a member of Alta Vista Church in Pasadena, TX where he is the sound technician. He also helps with the sound for BAGMA. Charlie lives in Alvin, TX.
Our mission is to serve the Lord by spreading the gospel through song. We pray that our music will touch hearts and souls and move them closer to him. It is our heart felt desire to see lost souls saved and lives renewed in Jesus Christ.
